為什麼要選擇有牌的Contractors? 因為他們有保險（一百萬的保額），因為他們更專業（有至少四年以上的工經驗，通過筆試考核才獲得牌照）, 因為他們的工作會滿足政府的要求（Inspector 會幫屋主把關

建築牌照分三個等級：

• A牌（General Engineering Contractor)
• B牌 （General Building Contractor)
• C牌 （Specialty Contractor,分為42 類

A牌負責做公共工程，例如：機場，公路，橋樑，學校等等
B牌負責做商品樓，私人住宅，包括新建房屋，加建，擴建，翻新，防震加固等等
C牌負責專業的一種技能：常用的有,電工（C-10), 油漆工(C-33),管道工（C-36),房頂（C-39),圍欄（C-13) ,地板（ C-15), 水泥（C-8), 框架（C-5)...
